About this event
Join GiGi’s for a special evening exploring the wines of Samuel Tinon, a French winemaker whose dedication to Hungary’s historic Tokaj region has made him a distinctive voice in one of the world’s great wine-producing areas. With a career spanning Bordeaux and Tokaj, Samuel brings a deep understanding of terroir and tradition to wines that express the unique character of this remarkable region.
The evening’s pairings have been personally selected by Madison Michael, highlighting the depth, complexity, and distinctive character of Tinon’s wines. Chef Tu David Phu has created a five-course menu that draws on GiGi’s Vietnamese-inspired approach to seasonal California cuisine, thoughtfully composed to complement each wine.
Throughout dinner, Samuel Tinon will guide guests through the pairings, sharing stories from his winemaking journey, the heritage of Tokaj, and the vineyards and traditions behind his wines. Join us for an intimate evening of exceptional food, thoughtful pairings, and a deeper appreciation for one of Hungary’s most compelling wine regions.
